Adam Grossi is a visual artist and yoga teacher based in Chicago. He hails from Reston, Virginia, and he earned his MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His artwork has been included in recent group exhibitions at such Chicago spaces as Octagon Gallery, Hyde Park Art Center, and Heaven Gallery.He teaches public classes at Tejas Yoga, Nature Yoga, FFC, and various other locations throughout the city. Recent solo exhibitions of his work have been featured at Johalla Projects, in Chicago, and the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. He received his BFA from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003, and was named Emerging Artist of the Year by the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in 2007. Grossi is the author of Wind Through Quiet Tensions, a book exploring mental health through text and drawings, now in its second printing.
